We rent Liquid Shredder Surfboards, Custom X Bodyboards, Skimboards, and wetsuits. Our rental surfboards are fun shapes ranging from 6'4",7'5", and 8' ft. The surfboards are constructed of a foam core and a vinyl shell which is good for a beginner surfer until he/she becomes acquainted with the movement a surfboard in the water. Liquid Shredders are durable and maneuverable almost like a traditional surfboard. Liquid Shredder are perfect for beginners to test their skills and give the beginner a good introduction to surfing. The Liquid Shredder is available for purchase at our store upon request.

Rental Requirements:

UCSD Students: UCSD issued ID.

Non-UCSD Affiliated: Drivers license and Credit Card Deposit.

Here is how the Rental Program works:

1 Day Rental: Pick up the Rental anytime after we open and return the Rental before 7:00pm (Mon-Fri) and or 5:00pm (Sat-Sun). We recommend that you pick up the board the night before so that you can take advantage of the early morning glass session. (Additional Day add $5.00 when dropping off the Rental).

Weekend Rental: (Best Value) Pick up the Rental on Friday afternoon and return the Rental anytime on Monday before 7:00pm. (Additional Day add $5.00 when dropping off the Rental).

5 day Rental: Pick up the Rental on Sunday afternoon and return the Rental on before 7:00pm on Friday. (Additional Day add $5.00 when dropping off the Rental). Surfboard and Wetsuit Package Price subtract $10. The Rental can be picked up any day Mon-Sun.

7 Day Rental: Pick up the Rental on Sunday afternoon and return the Rental the following Monday before 7:00pm. (Additional Day add $5.00 when dropping off the Rental). Surfboard and Wetsuit Package Price subtract $10. The Rental can be picked up any day Mon-Sun.
